How much does the Ghost digital dash cost?
Prices start at $799 USD + shipping for the Ghost Dashboard 8.8″. Multilink adds wireless CarPlay and Android Auto, Smart OBD2 adds plug-in OBD2 diagnostics, and Smart OBD2 + Multilink combines both. Every model includes lifetime software updates.
Will it fit my car?
Ghost is a universal digital dash designed to retrofit any car. Check three things: the screen fits your cluster space (see the dimensions table), the signals are available on your OEM cluster harness, and the car runs without the original cluster connected. More than 176 vehicle models have been tested and approved — search yours above, or send us your project on WhatsApp.
Is it plug and play? How is it installed?
The wired versions are not plug and play, but the included harness is labelled wire by wire so you can tap your OEM cluster signals. Connected only to an aftermarket ECU, installation takes 4 or 5 wires. Smart OBD2 models connect straight to the OBD2 port.
Which ECUs does it work with?
Over CAN, Ghost reads 30+ standalone and OEM ECUs, including FuelTech, Haltech, Link, MaxxECU, ECUMaster, AEM Infinity, Holley EFI, Hondata and Megasquirt. Don’t see yours? We can build a custom mapping for any CAN-enabled device.
Do I need an aftermarket ECU?
No. In basic mode Ghost reads speed, RPM, engine temperature, fuel level and every warning light directly from the cluster harness. An aftermarket ECU over CAN, or the OBD2 port on Smart OBD2 models, adds boost, AFR, oil pressure and much more.
Is the screen a touchscreen?
No, by design: like the clusters in premium cars, the anti-glare display stays free of fingerprints and reflections. Everything is set up from the GhostDash app for iOS and Android, including over-the-air software updates.
